The Southern Oracle Records

The Green Flamingos are an eclectic, electric quintet set to explore lunar reveries and multicolored atmospheres through introspective and cathartic songs. They seek the perfect blend of pop, r'n'b, soul and psychedelia. The promise of a magical journey from darkness to light.

After a first EP in 2015 and a first LP "The Southern Oracle" in 2017 under the colors of Pop Club Records, The Green Flamingos founded their own independent label “The Southern Oracle Records” in 2020 and released their second LP "In The Witching Hour"in 2021. 

​

"In The Witching Hour" is like a letter from a parent to one's children, resonating in personal, soul-searching, and poignant songs pairing a velvet voice with a raw production. This opus is the result of reflections accompanying life changes (the falling-out of a friendship, the birth of a child, moving), and realizations vis-à-vis an addiction to social networks and voyeuristic nocturnal wanderings in a city that never sleeps.

The band is currently recording 2 EP with songs which will be released in 2023 and early 2024.

The Green Flamingos live band members are : Yoanna Claquin (vocals), Alexandra Moore (vocals), Julien Garric (guitar & keyboards), Arnaud Bled (bass) and Anthony Salles (drums).

The Green Flamingos est un quintet éclectique et électrique explorant rêveries lunaires et ambiances multicolores à travers des chansons introspectives et cathartiques. Ils sont en quête de l’alliage parfait entre pop, r’n’b, soul et psychédélisme. La promesse d’un voyage magique de l'ombre à la lumière.

Après un premier EP en 2015 et un premier LP "The Southern Oracle" en 2017 sous les couleurs de Pop Club Records, The Green Flamingos fondent leur propre label associatif indépendant "The Southern Oracle Records" en 2020 et sortent leur deuxième album "In The Witching Hour" en 2021. 

"In The Witching Hour" est comme une lettre d'un parent à ses enfants, résonnant de chansons personnelles, introspectives et poignantes, alliant une voix de velours à une production brute. Cet opus est le fruit de réflexions accompagnant des changements de vie (rupture amicale, naissance d'un enfant, déménagement), et des prises de conscience face à une addiction aux réseaux sociaux et à des déambulations nocturnes voyeuristes dans une ville qui ne dort jamais.​

Le groupe enregistre actuellement 2 EP de chansons qui sortiront en 2023 et début 2024.
